even though it costs almost twice as much and entails a lot more administration for each new member.
Apparently some people believe it is safer than Stripe (it isn’t of course) . When paying by stripe, credit card details are only collected on a Stripe web-page.
If there is significant demand the membership may wish to vote whether or not to charge extra to cover the extra cost of Paypal subscriptions, but that is not a problem at present.
